or...Awards For All, Big Lottery Fund for community workshops

Riversmeet have successfully received £6,420 towards a project called Life Cycle - a series of community workshops that helps people transform scrap and second goods into useful and beautiful objects.
Artist will help with the creative ideas and techniques.
The workshops will run over the next 12 months and be free to attend. The first one is for families to help them make musical instruments from scrap. Shortly followed in July by clothes redesigning for festivals and events. Furniture, knitting and others to come.

Stick Furniture
There is an artist (Helen) we are working with who makes stick furniture so if this was something people were interested in we could run a session. Felicity if you get in touch with me we can discuss. cathy@cathynewbery.co.uk
