or...FUTURE FOOD

There are several factors that are combining to drive the increasing passion for community food growing. Not only do people want healthy food that is free from pesticides, but they enjoy the physical process and the pleasures of seeing the fruits of their labour as an antidote to the growing stresses of our fast moving culture.
More critically the background of reducing oil stocks and the consequent rise in oil prices, there is a realisation of our dependency on imported food and the environmental impact of CO2 emissions of transporting food from across the world.
To respond to this growing backyard revolution we need to allocate more land for community food growing.
How will we do this?
