Flags on 'The Hay'

In the afternoon on the official opening day of Cockermouth's re-vamped Market Place, a few people, led by Rick Cross, walked up The Hay with the spectacular prayer flags. These flags are made from colourful plastic bags which people can create and write messages of their 'Hopes for the World'.
The sun was shining but it was very chilly indeed!
