- Cumbria Energy Efficiency Advice Centre
The Cumbria Energy Efficiency Advice Centre (CEEAC) was established in 1996 to provide free, impartial energy efficiency advice for householders in Carlisle. Expanding in 2000 to cover the whole of Cumbria, we have helped thousands of householders access information about domestic energy efficiency, grants for insulation measures and given hundreds of talks to community groups.

Cumbria Fairtrade are an alliance of like-minded groups, all of which are promoting Fairtrade and Trade Justice around the county. Formed in January 2004 at a meeting of campaigners in Ambleside. We have meetings twice a year, open to all campaigners.
Their aims are to; Promote the concept and to increase the awareness of Fairtrade in Cumbria. Promote the buying, selling, serving and use of Fairtrade products within the county. Alleviate poverty by campaigning for a fair system of international trade.

Cumbria Wildlife Trust is the only voluntary organisation devoted solely to the conservation of the wildlife and wildplaces of Cumbria. The Trust stands up for wildlife, creates wildlife havens, and seeks to raise environmental awareness.
