Co-operatives Fortnight Social Celebration at the Castle Bar, Cockermouth, from 6.30 pm onwards
National Co-operatives Fortnight co-incides with the Cockermouth Summer Festival and we would like to invite you to the Castle Bar in Market Place, Cockermouth to celebrate with us, reflect on what we have done and look forward to the next year.
This is an informal event to show some of the work we have been involved in and a few of the plans for future events.
There will be a display of some of Cathy Newbery's work with the upcycling project, photo and information displays and an opportunity to sign-up for some of the Cockermouth Summer Festival River Clean-up Events.
We will have some local and Fairtrade food available but please feel free to bring along a dish of something you like. Bring a pal with you if you wish to spread the word.
