or...Bird fat balls at Setmurphy
Recently I have noticed a lot of empty bird fat ball plastic packaging at the Isle entrance of Setmurphy. I mentioned this to Rick and he said he has removed a lot in the past. I have removed them today and I came home with a bag full.
While I don't mind people putting them up, it seems quite irresponsible for these people not to check every now and again to see if the fat balls have been eaten. Quite a lot were lying on the ground too, which causes a danger to any other animals who may try to eat them. There is a nice area near the Isle entrance (where the fat balls are).
Maybe it will be a good idea for a feeding station (made from natural materials, not plastic) to be placed in this area to provide a place for people to hang up or leave bird food?
