Come and help remove this invasive species from the River banks before it seeds.
No specialist equipment its really easy.
You will just need gloves, long sleeves and long trousers, glasses, insect repellent/sun cream if we are lucky, waterproofs if not!
We will be working on river banks so wellies, though not essential might help. Boots would do.
There may be spiky plants potentially in the vicinity but these areas can be avoided.
We collect rubbish too as we work.
If you or anyone you know may be interested in coming along to help then please come along to the meeting point on the day - you will be most welcome.
Start at 6pm in the Memorial Gardens at the end of Gote Bridge
It will only be cancelled in heavy rain, otherwise I'll be there.
